COVID-19 RESTORATION COMPANY BOCA RATON

Commercial Disinfecting for Reopening your Business

One of the most pressing problems for business owners in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic is balancing the need to reopen with mitigating the spread of the virus. We offer complete professional restoration and sanitation services that eradicate all viral hazards. We also work with clients to help them identify areas that require special attention and address issues at their source. A clearance report is available upon completion of each project.

It doesn’t matter whether your business is open, closed, or receiving customers by appointment only, we can provide services designed to combat the coronavirus and an exhaustive range of other viruses and bacteria. Samples will be taken to identify any and all types of viral or bacterial infection that exists. The samples are verified via laboratory analysis.

Medical experts have determined that COVID-19 spreads five times faster than the flu virus. It’s an insidious threat since customers may be asymptomatic and not demonstrate any of the typical symptoms of infection. Even with temperature checks at the door, mask requirements, social distancing, and limiting the number of people in your establishment, your business may still be infected by carriers of the virus.

We create a detailed plan for disinfection and will carefully seal off any contaminated area to prevent the spread to adjoining areas. The most effective antimicrobial solutions and technologically advances are employed, along with high-performance vacuums. No surface is overlooked.

COVID-19 can live for hours or even days, depending upon the type of surface with which it comes in contact. We can help you with the best timing for disinfection that provides the greatest level of safety for you and your customers.

Regular disinfection is critical during the COVID-19 pandemic as you reopen it will continue to be important even after a vaccine is developed. As a business owner, we understand that you have a responsibility to protect yourself, customers, and the health of the public in general against COVID-19. Our services enable you to accomplish that in an affordable and effective way.

What Is Sick Building Syndrome?

Sick building syndrome is a term that was coined to describe a building which causes the occupants to experience acute symptoms if sickness (respiratory problems and rash) that go away when they are not inside of the building. The indoor air quality in these so-called sick buildings is often a temporary condition, but sometimes it can be long term. These problems often arise when a building is being operated in a manner in which it was not designed to operate. Here are some indications that you’re in a building that has sick building syndrome.

Sick Building Syndrome Indicators

* Those who live in or work in the building complain of acute symptoms like headache, eye, nose, or throat irritation; dry cough; dry or itchy skin; dizziness and nausea; difficulty in concentrating; fatigue; and sensitivity to odors.

* These symptoms are from an unknown cause and go away when not in the building.

Sick Building Syndrome Causes

* Inadequate ventilation – If a building does not have the proper amount of outside air circulating throughout the building based on how many people are in it, this can cause sick building syndrome. In addition, when heating, ventilating, and air condition (HVAC) symptoms are not working up to par, this can contribute to sick building syndrome.

* Indoor chemical contaminants – Indoor air pollutants can come from things like adhesives, carpeting, upholstery, manufactured wood products, copy machines, and pesticides. Cleaning agents may emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including formaldehyde. Combustion products such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, can come from unvented kerosene and gas space heaters, woodstoves, fireplaces and gas stoves.

* Outdoor chemical contaminants – Pollutants from motor vehicle exhausts, plumbing vents, and building exhausts (like bathrooms and kitchens) can enter the building through poorly located air intake vents, windows, and other openings.

* Biological contaminants – Bacteria, molds, pollen, and viruses are types of biological contaminants. These can breed in heating and cooling vents; in stagnant water that has accumulated in ducts, humidifiers and drain pans; or where water has collected on ceiling tiles, carpeting, or insulation. Biologic contaminants can also come in the form of insect or bird droppings.

Sick Building Solutions

* Remove the pollutant – This includes things like routine maintenance of HVAC systems, replacement of water-stained ceiling tiles and carpeting before occupancy.

* Improve the air quality – Increase the ventilation rate in the building so it circulates outside air better in the building.

* Air cleaning – Use filters to properly filter the air. Use the proper air filter for the space depending on what sort of air particles may be in the air.

It’s important to do whatever you can to improve the air quality in a building, whether it’s where you work or live. This way everyone can remain healthy.

Commercial Restoration to get Business Running Again

There’s never a convenient time for a business to be down and the loss of revenue can be in the millions whether it’s due to a leak or a hurricane. It’s essential that business owners obtain the services of a disaster team that responds quickly and is able to deal with water damage, remediate mold, and assist with cleanup.

Water does more than damage the immediate surroundings and depending on the origins of the water, it could contain anything from chemicals and flammable oils to sewage. Special techniques and technologies are required to address different types of contaminants and biohazards.

It’s not just a question of removing immediate or residual water, though that’s part of the commercial restoration process. Mold is also an immediate concern. Mold and mildew can begin to grow in a matter of hours and a restoration team will arrest its growth, remove it, and disinfect the premises for the health and welfare of the client’s staff and customers.

Whole office cleaning is undertaken and any salvageable items are treated and returned. Depending on the scope of the water disaster, many items that would have been discarded in the past can now be restored, thereby saving clients time and money. Restoration services can be performed after flooding and fires to remediate damage from smoke and water.

Business restoration also includes cleaning of upholstery, carpeting, windows, bathrooms and storage areas. Floors and structures are treated to full-service cleaning. An element that’s often overlooked by clients is construction cleaning. As materials are removed, care must be employed to prevent the spread of mold and contaminants to other areas, an area of expertise that’s offered by a commercial restoration company.

Time is of the essence for business owners that need restoration services. Every moment that they can’t conduct regular commerce affects their livelihood and those of their employees. Choosing a commercial restoration company that works closely with insurance companies will help get businesses back up and running quickly and alleviate a significant amount of stress for business owners.
